Banker & Tradesman identified the seller as Magna Hospitality of Warwick, Rhode Island, and said Beacon Bank & Trust provided $40 million in mortgage financing on the purchase.

The price equates to about $358,000 per key, by The Hotelier Times’ calculation ($58.4 million ÷ 163 rooms). The same arithmetic puts the Beacon mortgage at about 68.5% loan-to-value, by The Hotelier Times’ calculation.

Banker & Tradesman located the hotel at 50-54 and 56-68 Devonshire St. BLDUP, also writing Oct. 29, described the asset as an approximately 85,700-square-foot, 13-story hotel constructed in 2018 as part of the Congress Square development in Downtown Crossing.
