Rosewood Calistoga Rates Start at $2,100+: Owner Rate Signal

By Nathan Snyder, Editor · November 4, 2026

Public booking opens Nov. 4, 2026 — trade sources put opening nights at $2,100–$2,500.

Public booking for Rosewood Calistoga opens Nov. 4, 2026, after an Elite travel-advisor window already taking stays from April 15, 2027, according to One Mile at a Time and InsideFlyer (both Oct. 30). Rosewood’s own site and Aug. 22, 2025 project release confirm the program but publish no nightly rates. Trade coverage puts opening rates around $2,100 to $2,500 a night by season — steep even for Napa. If you own or underwrite wine-country or ultra-luxury inventory, this is a rate-ceiling and branded-residence signal, not a soft opening sale.

What Rosewood Confirmed — And What Traders Are Quoting

Rosewood’s Aug. 22, 2025 media-hub release places Rosewood Calistoga and Rosewood Residences Calistoga across 118 acres of Calistoga’s forested ridgeline, “steps from” downtown. The hotel will have 96 guestrooms, inclusive of 31 suites. Residences: 20 private villas and 13 estate homesites (33 total). Design studio Atelier Marsh carries forward an original vision by architect Ed Tuttle. Amenities named in the release include Asaya spa (six treatment rooms, outdoor garden, hydrotherapy, fitness), two pools, a children’s club, and more than 20,000 square feet of indoor/outdoor event space. Radha Arora, president of Rosewood Hotels & Resorts, is quoted in that release on Sense of Place and Napa’s culinary heritage.

What the Rosewood release does not publish: nightly rates, a public booking date, or an exact opening day in 2027. Those operational details are coming from trade press that says it has seen live booking inventory.

One Mile at a Time (Ben Schlappig, Oct. 30, updated Nov. 1) reports the resort “expected to open as of April 15, 2027,” with bookings for that date already accepted through Rosewood Elite advisors until Nov. 4, 2026, then by the public. OMAAT says entry Estate King rooms run about 500 square feet and Forest View Suites about 1,000 square feet, and that “rates at Rosewood Calistoga start at $2,100 to $2,500 per night, depending on the season.”

Rate conflict (attributed, not averaged): TravelSort separately describes the entry Estate Room as starting at $2,500 per night. We do not average those figures. For this story’s owner angle we lead with OMAAT’s $2,100–$2,500 seasonal band and note TravelSort’s $2,500 entry listing as a higher floor from another advisor site. Neither figure appears in Rosewood’s own press release we opened.

Why the Rate Band Matters More Than the Ribbon

At roughly $2,100 a night before resort fees and taxes, a two-night stay clears four figures before the guest buys a bottle or a treatment. That is the same altitude we mapped when Canyon Ranch Austin opened from $1,325 per person, all-inclusive — different product, same owner question: how much rate can a wellness / wine-country box defend when leisure wallets are already absorbing high airfares and insurance pass-throughs.

OMAAT places Rosewood Calistoga against Alila, Four Seasons and Auberge Collection stock already in the valley (Auberge du Soleil, Solage, Stanly Ranch). For a U.S. owner, that list is the real competitive set: branded residences, spa, and $1,000-plus ADRs that pull high-net-worth calendar share away from independent luxury inns that cannot match loyalty or residence sales.
