Intersection Development began Phase 1 (demolition and site prep) on the first Atari Hotels property in Roosevelt Row. Completion is targeted for late 2028 to early 2029.

Plaza Companies and Fayth Hospitality are breaking ground on a six-story dual-brand Hilton at the southeast corner of 64th Street and Mayo Boulevard, near Mayo Clinic’s Phoenix campus. EBCO is general contractor.

Hyatt opened 3,808 rooms in Q3; pipeline near 158,000 rooms
Hyatt’s development pipeline grew 12.1% year over year to about 158,000 rooms, and the company still expects net rooms growth of about 6% for 2026.

Civitas Capital Group closed a $386 million senior construction loan for Flag Luxury Group and Unicorp National Developments at 8001 International Drive. Site work is underway, vertical construction starts Q1 2027 and FINFROCK is general contractor. Announced Oct. 28.

White Lodging’s 14-story hotel at 311 E. Fifth St. opens downtown with The Yacht Club restaurant and the guest-only Sundeck Social rooftop. It is White Lodging’s 13th Austin hotel.

Oxbow Development Group’s all-suite boutique hotel at 1210 E. Elmira St. on the Museum Reach will be the first new hotel at Pearl in a decade, with about 7,700 square feet of meeting space.

Dallas-based Shreem Capital opened the hotel inside the historic Aztec Theatre building downtown, with the Zenita rooftop bar. A grand opening followed on Oct. 17.

Jonas Woods and 3-O Real Estate Partners propose a 30-story tower with a 97-room hotel and 63 condos, plus a 20-story condo tower, on 2.2 acres along the Katy Trail. Zoning approval is still required.

Dallas leads every U.S. pipeline bucket at Q3
Dallas tops total pipeline (184 projects / 23,646 rooms), under construction (36 / 3,764), next-12-month starts (72 / 8,544) and early planning (76 / 11,338). Austin ranks fourth nationally with 112 projects / 13,169 rooms. Phoenix led Q3 openings with six hotels.

Hilton posts record organic openings quarter
Hilton opened 182 hotels / 27,000 rooms in Q3 2026, its highest organic openings quarter, and said fourth-quarter momentum remains strong.
